Collage Statement My collages emerge from the same inner landscape as my abstract paintings — a terrain of silence, longing, and the fragile architecture of memory. Each torn paper is a remnant of something once whole; each layer, a gesture toward rebuilding what time has scattered. Through these fragments, I seek the rhythm of what is lost and found again — where absence turns into presence, and the invisible begins to breathe. In collage, abstraction becomes tangible; emotion finds a texture, and memory discovers a body. Perhaps this is what we all do — gathering the broken pieces of our lives, trying to make them whole again. But can something truly become whole after it has been broken?
